A Tea Kettle

A tea kettle whistles
Releasing its steam
A volcano erupts
Molten lava overflows
A pipe bursts
water gushes forth
Why Can’t I

My lungs are bursting
emotions begging to be released
Emotions churn within me
Choking off my air that begs to escape
Why can’t I
Release like the steam in the kettle
Overflow like the lava from a volcano
burst like the water from the pipe
Where is my release
